Dispute resolution
If you are not satisfied with how a complaint was handled or believe we have breached your consumer rights, send us a request for redress at [email protected]. If we refuse it or do not answer within 30 days, you can submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to the competent body, for example the Slovak Trade Inspection.
List of alternative dispute resolution bodies (Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic)The platform is used to exchange services and products. We recommend handling deals through a deal proposal and chat so the history is preserved for potential dispute resolution.
- Banned items: weapons, drugs, counterfeiting, illegal software, dangerous chemicals and other illegal items.
- Moderation: reported offers and users may be suspended or removed.
- Top-ups: if a deal includes a monetary top-up, payment is processed through Stripe. The top-up is held in escrow during delivery and released after both sides confirm completion. In a dispute, it is not released until the dispute is resolved.
- Fee: Vymenit.sk charges a 5% fee from the top-up, not from the value of the whole exchange.
- Physical handover: agree on place, transport and safety between yourselves. The platform cannot guarantee product condition.
- Ratings: after completion, ratings are required; repeated violations reduce reliability or may lead to a ban.
- Deals outside the platform are at your own risk. If you repeatedly bypass the system, we may restrict your account.
If you do not agree with the rules, do not create an account. Violations may lead to immediate deactivation without compensation.
